Verified Customer Review:I recently had the blessing to hike to 12,000 feet with my 30-year old son in the Rocky Mountains. When on an extended hike every pound matters especially when you are neither of the thinnest nor the most athletic frame. The higher and the farther you trek makes the quality of the food you carry increasingly important. A cookie baked in a monastery brought out the very best in our journey. The label humbly declares :What a contrast to the bulk of our backpacking food preserved with salts and chemicals that take away from the freshness and pure spirituality of the experience of the mountains. We fueled our bodies and our spirits with prayed over all natural cookies! I crudely describe the taste as a delightful cross between a fruit cake and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Convenient high energy “gorp” going in, high fiber going out (another blessing at high altitude). Trite but true, this “heavenly” cookie enhanced the backpacking experience of myself and my son in ways impossible to describe. The next time you venture forth to gaze upon the beauty and the spiritual magnificence of the mountains take with you the cookies and prayers from the kitchen at the Little Portion Monastery to add to the spiritual moment of your climb. What’s in their cookie? Natural ingredients, energy and prayer and that’s the best kind of cookie to carry on your journey and in your heart.Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle

These were very good. I can see why it is called a breakfast cookie. I don't know what all is in it, but the flavors taste good together and are very filling. I couldn't eat a whole cookie.
The Little Portion Bakery Cookies are always a delicious treat!
These are great. I liked them and took them to my family reunion to share with my siblings. It was a big hit!!
I love the cookies. I had one this morning with a banana as my breakfast. They are a bit dry so I wrapped them in paper towel and heated it up a little bit. Absolutely delicious.
